Young teenage boy (14-15 years of age) with valgus knee deformity; Q-angle of patella greater than 9 degrees. Advice from an Orthopaedic surgeon requires urgent surgery. Referred to Dr George Shamishis orthopaedic surgeon and agreed to use the proprioceptive insoles for a period of 6-8 months. If no improvement surgery could not be avoided, due to the strain on the medial compartment of the knees (medial collateral ligaments, and medial meniscus). After 11 months with PCIs no surgery was required Q - angle 6-7degrees
